The Portland Street Car provides transportation to 20,000 riders per day during the weekdays and has an annual ridership of 5.56 million. In the city of Portland, Oregon the Portland Street Car was the first new streetcar system in the US since WWII to use modern vehicles and these streetcars were built in America.
